When my wrist hits button on Apple Watch, the watch takes a photo of watch face, how do I disable this feature?

Everytime that my wrist hits my Apple Watch, the Apple Watch takes a photo of my watch face. This is driving me crazy. I am erasing a bunch of watch face photos everyday. How do I disable this feature without having to turn my watch around and use my watch as if it's upside down?

any help would be really appreciated.

IPad, iOS 4.3.2

Hi

Screenshots are taken (and added to Photos on your iPhone) when you press and hold the side button on your Apple Watch and then also press and immediately release the Digital Crown.

It is not presently possible to disable this feature.

This may happen by accident when, for example, the buttons are pressed by the back of your hand (when flexing at the wrist) or by your clothing catching on the buttons.

To prevent this from occurring, try:

  • Wearing your watch a little higher on your wrist.
  • Wearing your watch band more tightly (exercise may otherwise cause it to move it from the usual position).
  • Wearing your watch on your other wrist or on the same wrist, but rotated by 180 degrees, so that the Digital Crown and side button are on the other side, where they may be less likely to be activated unintentionally.

To adjust the display settings, on your iPhone in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Watch Orientation - change the side for the Digital Crown.

How to change bands over (if you wish to switch your band around if changing the orientation of your watch):
